Have a french dinner

On March 11th evening, I went to a French restaurant called Leas 5 Sens near Nanjing University. I had dinner with 4 friends, they are Vera, Scott and Alex. We choose the restaurant because we had not been to a French restaurant and that restaurant seems good at map. The restaurant is in a small alley, so we found it for a long time. Vera and I got there first at about 7 p.m. Then Scott and Alex got too.

We saw Mr. Beeth and Mrs. Beeth in the restaurant. They were having dinner with a Chinese. Mrs. Beeth said that the food in the restaurant was very delicious and she wishes we will enjoy our food. She also recommended some food to us. We tried the food which she recommended, that was really very delicious. I had some potato soup, I really love it. I also had some noodle with some shrimps and some ice-cream. I think I love French food very much. I also took some photos with my food. All the costumes there are all foreigners except us. I thought the food there must be very authentic. The environment there is very good the air is very fresh and smells good. The waitresses there can speak English and they are very polite. Although the restaurant is not big, the atmosphere was very wonderful. I love the restaurant very much. I will recommend it to other friends. I will also go to that restaurant again.

I want to be a fashion designer in the future and work in Paris. I’m sure I will live in Paris well with the French food.

Nanjing Massacre

At march 8th, I went to a exibition called Nanjing Massacre with my friend in the afternoon. My friend's mother works in Nanjing Massacre and she was a volunteer in Nanjing Massacre. She knows a lot about it. I thought its very meaningful to go to Nanjing Massacre. When i decided to go to there, I asked her to be my guide. Then she brought me to there.
Nanjing Massacre is in longjiang. It was built to remember Chinese compatriots were killed in mind the December 13th, 1937 after the Japanese army captured Nanjing. It is a memory of the graves of 300000 poor Chinese compatriots. We had to storage our bags before we went in to the museum. Inside the museum, all the communication tools have no signal. There are many old things in the museum. There are cloths that were worn by people that time. Many instruments of torture were display in the museum. Those things were so startling, I even could not image how the Japanese army racked our compatriots. There are a place be built like a big sink. At the walls around the sink, there are many photos of the people who died in Nanjing massacre. Every 12 seconds there will have a photo be lighted. That means in Nanjing massacre, there was a people be killed every 12 second. When I saw the photos and heard the sound of the water droplets, I felt very sad. There were many tears fell down from my face. There are also many big bookshelves and they are completed by many black folders. The bookshelves are as tall as the ceiling, and all the folders record the name of all the people who died in Nanjing Massacre. Some folders are blue, that means those people had not been found since 1973.
There are so many things can move you in Nanjing Massacre. I was shocked in the museum. However, taking photos is not allowed. I took photos with some sculptures outside the museum. I love the sculpture named peace best. We should not forget the national humiliation, but we should still remember peace. We must win glory for the China.
